Honestly, both fights are kind of dumb but Mayweathers was a tune up from a long lay off, although for whatever reason i gave Marquez a shot in that fight, i dont know what it was, maybe how ive just always been a huge fan of Marquez but for whatever reason i gave him a shot.

As a Mayweather fan i was actually more worried going into the Marquez fight than the Mosley, i have no idea why because of course Shanes chances are alot higher than JMM's. Possibly because i have seen fighters make a jump like that before and win, but clearly Marquezs body isnt capable of that, although i believe anyone who moves up like that and fights Mayweather for there first fight will look terrible, or maybe because the Shane/Floyd comparison had been going round for a while and i always thought Shane had no chance against Floyd's style.

Who knows, both fights are kind of dumb, although i still believe the way Floyd beat Marquez was impressive, even with the size difference, i wasnt expecting a clinic like that. The main reason i critisize the Pacqiauo/Margarto fight is because its at a catchweight for the title, Magarito is a known cheater and because he isnt ranked at 154 and gets a title shot for the #1 title in the division. I would be saying the exact same thing is Mayweather was fighting him under these circumstances.

F-ck outta here. Manny fans as well as Floyd fans don't want this fight. Just like everybody hated the may/jmm fight. We going to act like everybody in their mother didn't **** on Floyd for fighting just like people trying to **** on PAC for fighting marg(which is a catch weight for a title).

Jrosales13 obviously JMM was not a quality ww fight. Never said it was. The fight got trashed when floyd didn't make 144 lbs. We agree. But JMM had EARNED the right to fight the biggest draw in boxing. Marg hasn't. Floyd/JMM didn't taint a title and 3 boxing commissions. This fight will and did. Floyd/JMM didn't shame the sport (although floyd surely has).

I also don't recall as many people saying they wouldn't buy the JMM/floyd fight as they are this, despite Manny being immensely more popular than floyd.

We had petition to boycott the Mayweather-JMM fight remember?

I really wished it wasn't Margarito. It would have been nice if it was Bradley Berto or Devon. This is a fight that Pac is risking a lot with no or little reward.

lots of people didn't know how Marquez would do at that weight lots of people didn't know how is Floyd looking coming back from retirement. some people picked JMM prefight and I remember people saying it was a tough 1st fight back so their were some mystery going into that fight as opposed to Margarito vs Pacquiao .
most people expect Pacquiao to dominate this fight and get a KO/TKO
