Honestly, Canelo is NOT ready for Shane yet. Next year this time with the right opponents I'd say sure. But if your talking about late this year(Dec) or the begining of next year(Jan-Mar), I tell you Shane stops this kid. But that's if Shane doesn't sit on the right hand all night, which I dont think he would do for that fight.

i agree. people still hanging onto the mosley mystique.
hes old and looks really bad in the ring. any fighter who can think in the ring, has skills and top talent is a threat to mosley. his skills, stamina and ability to think/adapt in the ring are gone.
all he has is a puncher's chance vs alvarez...and thats no hyperbole.

canelo whoops all over shanes stuttering shakey move, no punch throwin ass.shane looked terrible against a guy that got a butt whooping to peter manfredo! on the contender with 6kos! lol. canelo has a very strong jab and sharp fundamentals exactley the type of fighter shane is no good at fighting,plus he has a hell of a punch. frankly it does nothing for canelo other than have a name on his record.shane is just too old, too many wars , not the shane of old he still has a punch but he takes so long to pull the trigger it doesnt even matter anymore. frankly he just hit the lotto with margs, he ****** in his fight against mayorga, of course mayweather and mora. its over for shane , cotto even seems to have more in the tank something i didnt even think possible.shane has beat mexicans but thats one mexican he will not beat, not now, plus delahoya was robbed in their second fight.shanes has pretty much lost 3 out of his last 5 ,its time to hang them up.great career great fighter but its over now it has been over for awhile.the margs win only goes so far.

Dont rush the guy into a fight like this. Canelo is a good fighter, but SSM would take him into places he's never been before. Maybe in about 1-2 more fights against seasoned veterans, then a Mosley fight. By then, Mosley would be completely shot.
