A fight on this card for Ortiz would also be his 5th fight in just one years time...pretty impressive. I dont know too many jww that are staying this active, even if this isnt the sternest test for Victor itll make for an entertaining fight and keep him active, keep him motivated and bring him one step closer to a world championship.

Who would you like him to fight when all the top fighters are all busy with each other?

I agree, some of these people will say anything to discredit a fighter on their **** list. Ortiz has been active and that is not a bad thing by any means.

Meh, it's a stay busy fight for Ortiz and hopefully he'll fight the winner of the main event....I was hoping he would lock horns with Judah though, that's an interesting fight for him

Judah has a fight in Nov....hes busy like most of the other top dogs, Ortiz doesnt even have to take a fight. This is a good move by him.

No they're not, what are you talking about? Kotelnik, Urango, Mabuza, Peterson are all top 10 Jr Welterweights with no fights lined up. McCloskey, another top 10 Jr Welterweight, has an easy fight against a journeyman on Oct 2, but would probably jump at the chance to fight Ortiz in December. That's at least four and possibly five of The Ring's top 10 who are available. All are far better and more credible opponents than Murray, who is nothing more than cannon fodder.

You're being ridiculous, I like Ortiz. Just because I think he should be taking meaningful fights that can test him at this stage of his career rather than fighting two journeymen in a row, makes me a hater? GTFOOH with that ridiculous shit.

You guys its gonna be Koltelnik...Koltelnik already has British exposure from when he faught Khan and he's already in shape for another fight cuz he didnt fight too long ago...If Ortiz stops Koltelnik it would shock the British and US fans and the top JWW's...Murray is just an idea being entertained...Koltelnik is probably more known that Murray since he is the one Khan won the title from so a stoppage will have the world in shock cuz Khan, maidana, and alexander couldn't do it...boxing needs to end the year right cuz this year was pretty bunk...I know Ortiz can get Koltelnik since Koltelnik's purse went down...Don wont care to throw the Ukraine warrior to a hungry wolf like Ortiz...this will also show ppl what would have happened if Ortiz and Khan swapped opponents last year for thr wba belt and the interim belt...
