    According to Top Rank Promotions Vice President Carl Moretti, WBC silver middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., of Mexico, will likely face Alfonso Gomez in the headliner of a Top Rank Latin Fury pay-per-view on December 4. Gomez (22-4-2, 11 KOs) has emerged as the frontrunner to face Chavez (40-0-1, 30 KOs). New Jersey resident Pawel Wolak (27-1, 17 KOs) was the initial option to face Chavez on the date.

        That's actually a decent fight if it's at 154 but I don't pay for Chavez jr **** fest PPV's. Stream for the win.

            If its at 160 Gomez is in big trouble. But at 154 if Gomez outhustles Chavez and smothers him he could pull out the upset in an exciting fight.

              I like alfonso as much as anybody, but the difference in class was apparant against cotto, I cant see gomez at the highest levels.....alfonso gomez vs john duddy would be better! I'd pay to see that one!
