this is a brilliant, brilliant move by gbp. it essentially forces tr into an admission of one of two realities:


1. manny pacquiao's fights are not that profitable

2. that manny pacquiao's fights are very profitable and
a) manny is being cheated by bob arum, or
b) manny is not being cheated by arum and is part of the financial conspiracy


there are no other options.

Damn just read the documents, pretty big allegations! TR might have been screwing over Pacquiao as well

i think what top rank is doing is having pacquiao make less "on paper" so top rank pays gbp less.

Great job Gino. I personally think Bob lied about the numbers. I don't think Manny is as profitable as TR reports. I still remember it taking a long time to tally up the Pac/Clottey numbers which to me was Bob manipulating the numbers but now he is being taken in his own craftiness. I don't think Manny is a match for Bob Arum so I believe Manny is just getting f**ked with no lubricant. I could be wrong but I also know Bob is a master BSer. All they have to do is audit Manny then they will see that Manny probably only made 7.5 for Cotto instead of the 22.5 reported.

that's not the point.

they have an agreement that they get a cut of top ranks profits from pacquiao fights.

it means nothing whether they "destroy" pacquiao. whatever "destroy" means.

simple explanation for you little kids.

top rank is entitled to a certain percentage of what pacquiao makes.

golden boy is entitled to a certain percentage of what top rank makes from what pacquiao makes.

what top rank is doing is making it look like they are making less money from pacquiao's side so that they pay golden boy less.

only way they can do this is if pacquiao is making less money. pacquiao would never willingly agree to making less money.

so in my opinion what they are doing is cooking the books.

making it look like pacquiao makes less money , hence top rank looks like it's making less money so that top rank pays golden boy less.

since top rank is paying golden boy less......that means top rank can pay pacquiao more AND also make more money for themself.

it's plain as day imo. proving it in court is another thing though......
