If any boxer wants a Middleweight title, the limit is 160 and both fighters can come in at what ever weight always that it doesn't pass the limit of 160.

IMO if a challenger has to set lower limits to EARN a title, they should fight at a lower weight class.
IF Paul Can't fight at 160, then SIMPLY DON'T.
Fight at 154 and earn that title.

I have seen a lot of politics in boxing, just not politics made up by boxers.
I have NO respect for any of the coward catchweight beatches.
Do you need anymore explaination pistol whip?

But there is no rules dictating what the weight limit has to be for championship fights and how is 157 pounds and advantage for either fighter when they both make 154 easily??????

      Again crying over spilled milk!

Ugh yeah! Making up rules off the top of your head doesn't really explain much.

Are you really comparing the HW division to the Middleweight division? Did you eat paint chips as a child?

Once again why not? Could someone please rationalize this into actual words instead of just saying they don't like because they just don't like it?

And this is what's wrong with Catchweights!! How can PW fight for the middleweight title at the 157 limit!! MOFOs just keep bending the rules.

I don't mind both boxers meeting at a catcheweight, but I hate that PW is setting lower limits to earn a MW title.

Why is the Organization not enforcing boxing rules. How do they earn sanctions??

I'm so sick of this ****.
157 is within the middleweight limit of 155-160... Both of these guys are small for Middleweight so it really doesnt matter...

Its different when the catchweight favors one guy because the other will have trouble or be at a disadvantage because of the weight...

Also, has any reasonable explanation been put forward yet as to why this is at a catchweight? Why does WIlliams want one? I can't understand it.
