Why do you care? This is a special case because both fighters are actually SWWs fighting for the MW title so no one is at a disadvantage anyway.

Makes it funnier that Williams actually asked for the first fight at 160. And he and his fans claim that he "won".

WTF are you talking about. Boxing fans come in all ages and sizes. So where do you get your hostility towards mature men. Did one did you wrong?
I'm as young as I feel, so buzz off.

I care because I have been following boxing for more than 40 yrs and this new ****** game upsets me.

If you want to fight for the Middleweight title of the World, the limit is 160.
Paul can come at what ever weight He wants, but the title limit is 160.
Any other limit created by the challenger is a punk move.

I would love to see PW trying to convince Marvin Hagler to defend his title at 157!! He would tell PW, GTFOH! punk, if you want my title, COME AND GET IT!

Exactly if you feel good at 157 come in at 157 but dont expect the champion at 160 to meet your best fighting weight.

Why not? I still have yet to actually have someone explain this to me why this is so bad?

I mean it cant be a bad thing just because you say it is, and i hate paul williams by the way but I see nothing wrong with this so long as both fighters agree to it.

To be honest, fearful boxers are the only ones who fear playing by the rules. The fact that they are afraid to give a few lbs inside of regulation points at their fear as motivation.
PW stock just went down in my book. I didn't know HE was so afraid of Martinez.

If both fighters agree to it who cares? It's not like anyone has to cut weight that much both guys make 154 easy.

In what rulebook does it say that Championship fights have to take place at the full weight limit?

Your rulebook? I hate to break it to you but that rule book dont mean shhiitt!!!
