Serious Question: How was "shot" Mosley able to batter Margarito?

Margarito always had no defense,technique,speed etc etc
There were a lot of dumbasses who always thought he is good...

What he had was great stamina, very good chin and plaster=punch

So he was able to take everything and dish out like hell, if he lost rounds he just thought "i got plaster I can still win this fight". In the mosley fight he was psychologically ****ed and Mosley had enough pop to get to his chin.

Mosley was on the downhill since 2006 he had problems with shot Vargas cmon

Margarito isn't even top10 without plaster

I was thinking it possibly had something to do with Shane still having good hand speed and good power while Margo had no defense, but what do I know. 40yr old fighter are usually just entering their peak.

I watched Mora's previous bout against "opponent" calvin Green. Green had just been ko'd by Boone who was a journeyman with 15 losses. Green took the bout with Mora with two weeks notice. Still when Green tired out in the seventh, the scorecards were even. That says alot about where Mora is and the bout last night confirms where Mosley is as well.

I thought Margarito was psychologically done.

Having to fight after everyone found out you were cheating has got to be some psychologically draining shyt.

To make a similar case for Mosley, Mosley had just received divorce notice that week and was mad as hell.

I wouldn't be surprised if the divorce + catching the other guy cheating would make us all see red and go for the kill.

I think it's the combination of Margarito being psychologically ****ed and Mosley being on a rampage.

I think the timing...the night, all that played into Mosleys hands. Styles make fights, and with Margarito's head swirling from what just happened in the dressing room, that didn't help either - I'm not defending Marg, just answering your question. Mosley's career didn't start in January 2009 (vs Margarito), we're talking about a guy that's been in the sport of boxing, professionally since 1993. Shane Mosley has done this sport good, but his prime has long passed, people are just realizing.
Don't forget boxing has a lot of intangibles, any little thing can make the difference.

When Margarito and Mosley were scheduled to fight in Vegas,,,, about 7 weeks before the fight, a Federal Judge (out of concern for Margarito's well-being) released Mosley's EPO blood doping calendar to the public, that showed how Mosley injects EPO through his stomach, and on which days.

When Mosley's EPO usage calendar was released (about early December 2008), Nevada boxing commissioner-Keith Kizer warned Mosley that he would be blood tested for the illegal/banned stamina booster-EPO, before fighting Margarito.

When Mosley was warned by the Nevada Commission, he was worried he would get caught with EPO, so he had his buddies (Oscar & Shaeffer) move the fight from Nevada to California (LA's STAPLES CENTER), cause Mosley knew that california only does post fight urine tests, which will NOT detect EPO.

Margarito's promoter (Bob Arum) knew that Mosley was pulling this sleazy stunt, but cared less, cause he was gonna profit from a, then, proposed Mayweather Jr vs Mosley fight (which took place on May 2010), cause he agreed with Oscar, to conspire, this dirty ploy.

That''s why the California boxing commission officials allowed Margarito to try to use plaster inserts, cause they all knew that Mosley was "juiced-up" with EPO, and was not gonna get caught, and Margarito was being "backstabbed" by his very own promoter.

Margarito doesnt say anything, cause Mosley has filed a federal lawsuit against Conte, so that he can place a GAG order on anyone that makes public staments. Thats why Margarito is being silent, about Mosley being "juiced-up" when he fought him.
