i bet main events had a cease and desist order against him... an injunction by the courts to prevent him from fighting under any other promoter... he probably still had an existing contract for like two or three more fights... kinda sucks for him but it sends a message to fighters to be loyal to their contract and don't sign with more lucrative promotion outfits until you are a "free agent".

as much as i dislike harris now, because i used to be a fan before all his amazingly ignorant trash talk, but the guy needs to eat, im sure he has people to support.

they needs to be fair, all crap aside............. give him a cut of his money and take a percentage. if has any decent legal team he will get something out of this.

That **** is not ****ing cool.!! so its ok for a fighter to put his life on the line to entertain and to provide for his family, only for some meat peddling promoter can take their money from them.. !?!?! what about the man's kids and wife ?!? the way vivan looked last night he more than like was not even in shape for the fight , and just took the fight because he needed the money.. This is why boxing is going down the tubes.. because of **** like this..!!!

Whoa! We don't know the details of the issue, but what if he had made a promise, perhaps verbal, to pay his promotional company for services rendered and he reneged on it?

Sometimes people break handshake agreements and don't expect the consequences to catch to them until they least expect it.

yeah, and i know that too, it totally slipped my mind, harris doesn't have much to offer to help get him out of that hole........
