Comments Thread For: DeGale vs Groves Explored; Warren Likes Haye-Chisora

Frank Warren used the 'Magnificent Seven' presser to offer his rivals the chance to make some key fights. The veteran promoter, who celebrates thirty years in the trade this coming September, wants big contests for James DeGale and Derek Chisora, who posted wins over Carl Dilks and Sam Sexton respectively, and also called for Enzo Maccarinelli to retire following his sickening seventh-round KO defeat to Alexander Frenkel.

If Del boy can lose some weight over the next year or so, Work hard in the gym then i dont see why he couldnt trouble Haye, He need more fights and more 12 round fights where his stamina holds up. I like his style, He bob and weaves, moves his head, duck under punches, Mixes his punches and throws combo.

If he can do that against european level competition then we might have a good HW fighter on our hands.

          funny

I'm not impressed by Chisora at all

he's a very ordinary fighter to me, and I believe that if they try to take him to the top too fast, he will fall bad

Valuev would be no problem as he has been finished for a while though

Warren's offer will be the same as his offers to several other dangerous opponents: you can fight my guy, but only if I get options on your future fights.

Well atleast Chisora is a better and more dangerous opponant than Audley Harrison.

People are impressed because when your fighting Bums even a B level fighter looks "amazing" but when you put him in with TOP 5 then he will look like a bum since those tactics wont work on top 5 guys.

He looked decent I would like to see him fight the canadian HW champ hes also B level.
