Vivian Harris hasnt been the same since he got clocked by Maussa....the man was coming into this fight with 2 KO losses and 1 no contest...never the less good win for Ortiz..It is a step up from getting back to competing against the elite level

dude, harris is a shot fighter, he has no chin at all, none what so ever, he still does have a world class punch, but he has lost his confidence a long time ago.

the only test in this fight is if ortiz did get hit with one of harris's punches, how ortiz would handle it. other than that ortiz had him beat through and though on all fronts.

if harris could take a punch, i bet he would've gotten ortiz out of there, thats what makes maidana so dangerous to ortiz, is because he can take a shot and keep on coming like it never happened.

i think ortiz will beat maidana on points by boxing and stay away, but if he gets pulled into a scrap, the same thing could happen again.

vivian harris was not a challenge to really gauge where ortiz really is...... good win though, exactly what i thought would happen.

So where Ortiz should rank in the JWW division? It should be on top 5.

I'd say he's back and was definitely feeling it tonight. I know it's 'Vivian Harris' but Ortiz hasn't looked that focused since the Arnaoutis fight. You could just tell from his body language in the first round that he was there for the kill.
He does need to stop leaning back with his gloves down though and needs to get back on defense quicker after he gets his knock downs. The fights not over until the ref waves his hands Vic.

Hardly an upset, but Vic looked real good.

Honestly Im not ready to "forget" about his quitjob against Maidana

PS) If he foguht Maidana today, probably the same result would occur.

He was, and will forever be, exposed from that fight as good but lacking in some areas.

he can make improvements, but there is no excusing what happened in the Maidana fight.

We always knew he was talented, it is "will" and "mentality" that has been a question mark.
