zaragoza was an actual good fighter who still held the title though. baldomir is a journeyman and a super faded one at that. if alvarez can't beat baldomir now he probably doesn't have a future in boxing.

Baldomir is not that good. Blame Judah's ADD ass for making it seem like he was better than he actually was.

Settle down guy, the dude was just making the point that Alvarez was stunned by a LW and therefore it will be interesting to see how he fairs against a legit Welter. He wasn't attacking him. Just relax.

The one thing you can not say about GBP is they protect their fighters. Why is Khan fighting Maidana? Why is Ortiz going to get another chance soon? Why is Canelo stepping up his competition?

Khan and Maidana are fighting, Devon just fought, and he's going to fight Bradley in January. Zab has a fight coming up and some of the other guys recently fought, or are going to fight soon. Ortiz had limited time to get ready for the fight and to find an opponent.

            Another epic fail

Maidana was nobody back then when he fought Ortiz.

He got decimated 8 rounds to 4 by Kotelnik.

They thought like everyone else thought that Victor Ortiz is gonna walk through Maidana.

And now Maidana had horrible fight against chop chop and now GBP made KHAN vs MAIDANA

Only in your dreams will Canelo knock out Baldomir.

Only in your dreams,he couldnt even KO fat lightweight Cotto a guy who lost probably 11 rounds against JUAN DIAZ.

Baldomir is old,he retires 2 years ago and the last fight was horrible,he was too slow, and less of stamina.but he has a great heart.

                      well said

it's one of those lets throw the young kid in with someone that is experienced but limited and can take a bunch of shots

if alvarez even boxes half decent he wins this fight comfortably
