Its a 55/45 split. Maidana had to beg the WBA just to get the fight sanctioned, Khan was ducking him making excuses. Khan was put his back to the wall and woldve been stripped if he didnt agree to fight. Funny how it took letters to the WBA to get Amir to fight.

khan has been saying maidana is his opponent for weeks now, money as the problem, there was no ducking situation...

so why did it take Maidana writing the sanctioning body just to get the fight signed? Khan was being a diva and now he had no choice but to sign the fight or he wouldve flushed his career down the drain since everyone wouldve jumped off his bandwagon from ducking maidana. Dont forget Khan already payd Maidana off before for not fighting him. Theres a reason he didnt take the fight the first time and was skeptical to take it this time talking all this trash on twitter. If i was a boxer and hated the guy so much as he does I would be the first to sign on the line and say lets do this.

Khan didn't want the chance Frank Warren could win the purse bid and have to fight under him again and Maidana didn't want to take a chance for Khan to vacate if Warren won the purse bid so the sides worked it out. Obviously Khan gave a little money which made Maidana feel better and now we will see what happens.

I'm not some huge Khan fan. I'm also ***ish so don't start with the ****** insults foolish people. I just don't get how people think Khan will be knocked out.

I mean I see why you don't like his personality but he's from Middle Eastern decent originally and that's just their personality often. But to see the last fights fom each other and think cause Khan got caught fights ago with a different trainer that he'll get knocked out is silly.

It be nice if people posted both their dislike for a boxer cause of his personality but could separate that from what they think will happen.

Yes he didn;t jump at Madaina, that is correct. I put him down on that too, but the matter at hand is, Khan is in a dangerous sport and wants to make a lot of money.

what are talkin' about ,Khan and Maidana are both with golden boy.what does Warren have to do with the biding.I believe when a fight goes to bid only the fighters promoters can bid on the fight to determine who gets to promote the fight , venue site and who gets the lions share.I could be wrong ,thats the way I understand those things work.

Nope. When it goes to purse bid it goes to the highest bidder and the bidders don't know what others are bidding to help increase the bidding price.
