I like him but I know promoters are like boxers in that they like to win in their respective ways. I have no doubt he's a nice guy personally and frankly, though I think Khan will easily win this fight, he's sooooo ****y it be kind of funny to see Warren bid and win.

no man ,I think only the fighters promoters can bid and in this case ,goldenboy being the promoter for both would have to make the fight within 60 days after the biding day.they have an hbo day for Khan already but its till december over the 60 days or Khan belt becomes vacant.which means Maidana becomes full champ,he gets 55% and Khan has a minimum of 1 mill,that would make Goldenboy pay much more money for the fight just to satisfy Khans minimum.but like I said ,I could be wrong.

Why would a promoter have to bid for the fight if they were the only ones in the procedure?
