In all fairness, the casual fans and mainstream public wanted Pac-De la Hoya. But the hardcore fans wanted De La Hoya-Margarito.

Can't blame Oscar though as the casual fans and mainstream audience bring in way more cash than the hardcore fans.

I am sure if the public really wanted one more fight, Oscar would probably give it to them. But even a blind man can see that Oscar belongs outside the ring, not in it.

      very well said..

oscar could have been the one to expose margo instead of shayne.. the pac fight is just a match-up nightmare for him.. he can't deal with the speed of his opponent..

I agree with him on it.

Normally he says **** now for his business, and this is for it too, but right now, he is totally right.

        Fight each other.

Real talk from Oscar, but his companies actions make it look like they got another idea.

Oscar didn't unify when it was his run, So why would He ask someone else to do what He didn't. I do agree with his statement, I just think He's the wrong messenger.

He still should have fought Margarito, but my point is that Oscar paid his dues in his prime, unlike these 140 pounders who act like they are already stars who can call the shots.
i dont like De La Hoya for ****....but i give him that..he fought everybody he could..the best out there..he mightve dodged Rito but man thats somewhat recent..De La Hoya was already on his farewell tour..

Dude literally fought the best available during his time.

He's full of ****. Funny how GBP turned down the HBO 140 tournament when approached just a few months ago.

khan isn't unifying, more like getting the full claim to his belt back.
