I thought Golden Boy was not interested in putting Khan and Maidana into a four-man tourney with Alexander and Bradley.

Damn, so this is what it's come to? The head of one of the biggest promotional companies has to beg guys to sign contracts to make millions of dollars? Boxing is killing itself with all this ducking, dodging, and excuse-making. How many great fights have the fans been denied these past few months and years? JUST FIGHT or retire. Stop the bull****. Amir Khan better nut up and fast.

Good words from the Golden Boy. He knows what's up.

Oscar might not have won all his battles, but he never ducked anyone and fought everyone he could.

GBP's the reason there isn't a tournament at 140 right now. Bradley and Alexander were on board already.

He just wants them to fight each other, so Khan only has to face one of them to get to the status he wants to be.

Yes he did. He ducked Margarito and Cotto at WW and went after the super featherweight P4P king!

if theyre on board then they can fight then call out the next winner. you want Khan to fight all of them while they just wait around? a tournament would be winners facing winner, forget the round robin bs

Oscar always fought the biggest fight out there. name a big fight he turned down to make a smaller fight. Oscar in his prime is one of the greatest ever, now move along.

Sure. Actually he only ducked Margarito. De La Hoya wanted to fight Cotto, but when he lost to Margarito, Oscar went after Pac.

He still should have fought Margarito, but my point is that Oscar paid his dues in his prime, unlike these 140 pounders who act like they are already stars who can call the shots.

the pac-delahoya fight was a much bigger fight than margarito-delahoya. Oscar always fought the fight the fans wanted the most. the dude fought Bernard Hopkins, he didnt duck anyone out of fear of getting beat he just fought the biggest fights out there.
