damn I could see Ellerbe getting quite jealous over Floyd being in the slammerYou guys don't seem to be getting just how ****ED floyd is.
He'll probably go to Jail for AT LEAST 2 years. When he comes out he will have not boxed.... OR TRAINED... in over 2 years. He will be getting close to 36 years old.
He WONT be the same fighter.
The severity of these charges is pretty harsh.
COULD he settle out of court? Yea. But more likely then not, Mayweather is spending some time in jail, effectively ending his career.
On top of that, Mayweather-Pacquiao, a fight that SHOULD have happened over a year ago, will NEVER happen.
Thank Mayweather for all the "BOXING IS DEAD" talk we'll have to put up with for the next few years.
Mayweather is one of the deepest scars boxing has ever seen, and he is an absolute DISGRACE to this sport. I hope he never fights again, never makes another buck, and ends up brokeComment

really the biggest problem i see for floyd in this case is if they tack on the grand larceny charge with the battery charge. if that is the case then floyd can be charged with comission of battery in the act of a felony, which is in itself a felony. that grand larceny charge is the problem, but he clearly didnt beat his baby mother in order to steal her phone so that would be a hard sell.Comment

I hope the judge is Mills Lane and sentences him to a Pacquiao fight
It'll count as punishment and community service all rolled into one
