So Hopkins is the cherry picker when Pascal is the guy going after a guy who's going on 46 years old when there's another young guy in the division who wants to fight Pascal named Tavoris Cloud? I'm confused.

It feels a lot like the JT-Hopkins fight if you ask me.

Young athletic kid against a the tough smart veteran.

I'm also counting on the Hopkins who fought his last two fights to show up.

I think Pascal outworks him in spots.

      This isn't a face first brawler(Pavlik) or a careful counter puncher(Tarver) Or a defense first(Winky)

      Hes a athletic(Calzaghe, JT) volume punching(Joe Calzaghe) power puncher(JT).

The variables tell me that Pascal wins a UD.

      I could be wrong.

        Pascal got this..

I'm a big Hopkins fan but he's worn out his welcome, hopefully Pascal puts the old dog out of his misery.

It's usually sad to see an old legend get his ass kicked in the ring, but this time I'm going to cherish it. Hopkins saw the writing on the wall in his last fight and he chose to ignore it. Now we get to see Pascal end his career. PM me if you want to bet 250k.

Man, this is crazy. If Hopkins has anything left he can beat Pascal. If he's the same bhop that fought Roy Jones, I doubt that will be enough to win.

It all comes down to how much gas hopkins has left in the tank and if he can be consistent for 12 rounds.

haha, exactly! Pascal will be the favorite, he's young and his prime and bhop is old as hell.

Hopkins has been written off before. Right after the Calzaghe fight people were saying he was done. It will be interesting to see if he has one more trick up his sleeve.

Like him or not, one must concede that Pascal and his management do not seem to be awed by names or reputations. And that's saying much more than could be said of many fighters and managers.

I think Hops would get his toughest challenge against either Tavoris Cloud or the winner of the super six. I think both fights would be tougher than Pascal. But if Hopkins beat Cloud, there would be no reward in it because Tavoris isn't recognized as the champ of the division like Pascal is. And if Hopkins fought the super six winner we'd have to listen to this garbage about how he's fighting another smaller guy.
