Let me qualify what I meant when I referred to cherry-picking.....

..... selective, because of the Dawson factor, sure no arguement there..... except that Bernard was well past his prime even at that stage.....

.... but, David Haye is cherry-picking, by fighting a man who doesn't even deserve a title shot for a huge local payday, instead of the lineal champ Wlad.

Hopkins is fighting the conqueror, of the man he (what's that word again? starts with 'a' ) showed no interest in fighting, who just happens to be the current lineal champ.

You cannot compare those two situations.

Hopkins is 45yo. Even if he wins, how much longer will he fight?

Before Pascal became available, he was talking about HW

I can't see him stalling LHW for too long, he most likely retires or goes up.

What a ****** thing to post. How is Pascal ducking Dawson? He just beat him and Dawson said there was a rematch clause so they'll fight again at some point.

That's one possibility, you could be right.

But I don't think the Jones fight was a clear indication of where Hopkins is at.
