Wladimir is a great champion. So is his brother. They both fight the best opponents that are available and beat them convincingly. There is no questioning their dominance. However, to compare them to Ali is taking it too far.Its not their fault though. The heavyweight division just isn't that strong. All of these contenders have the same style. There is nothing versitile about them. There are 3 styles that would give the Klitschkos problems. One would be a young Tyson style with the upper body movement, good jab, body attack, and counterpunching attack. Another would be a Joe Frazier style of attack with lots of pressure. That would take them in the trenches and test their stamina. The last style would be like a young Ali in his prime. Good footwork, great consistent jab, combinations, and elusive.I think all three of these men would beat both brothers. But who in that division have either one of those styles? No man that stands in front of those huge men will beat them. These heavyweights of today are all one dimensional and that is why the brothers are so dominant.

Ali had enough punching power to KO Wlad.

We are not talking about a green Ali, that was floored by Henry Cooper, but a prime Ali, the same version that made ATG Liston look like a fool.

      Ali decimates Wlad.

funny that Vitali dismisses the fact that Wlad has no worthy challengers to his throne unlike Ali who had to face top 10 AT HW boxers as if it was just a detail

it is not only a difference, it makes all the ****ing difference

I made a thread about this topic as recently as yesterday : your greatness is defined by the greatness of who you beat

        http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=422796

Wlad's best win is Byrd, a blown-up middleweight

meanwhile, Ali claims wins over Liston, Norton, Foreman, Frazier,...

comparing Wlad to Ali is a joke really, they have nothing in common : styles, resumes, chin, skills, behavior,...

        Vitali, goodbye

the greatness of Wlad cannot be determined by staging a fantasy match between him and Ali

it doesn't matter who would win it, they belong to different eras, and it's all speculation in the end

the only way to compare their greatness is by looking at their resumes, and Ali's resume ****s on Wlad's resume, period

          no contest

            Ali decimates Wlad.
The same ali who ducked a rematch with Doug Jones after most in attendance said Jones won their match and was blatantly robbed and Jones repeatedly called Ali out, but Ali fought Liston instead and never went back to Jones? Liston was even on the scorecards in the first fight and the second fight was either a fix or was a flash KD and inept Walcott let Ali stand over Liston and not let him get up.

Most in attendance began to boo because Ali's prediction of knocking out Jones in the 6th round failed.

Anyone who has seen the fight, knows Ali beat Jones. You obviously have not seen the fight.

Jones never put himself in a place to deserve a rematch. Ali beat him when he was the 2nd ranked contender to Liston's crown behind Ali. Jones lost and that was his chance.

Ali was out for more than 1 year after he beat Liston, due to injury, so don't cry about Jones not receiving an immediate rematch. Liston, as the ex-champ deserved a rematch.

                    what a disgrace 2000 era.......

i can't believe what comes out from the mouth of the people in this era;this is the era of reality show that learn people to be no one but talk like to be the greatest.............fortunately sooner or later this period will comes to the end!!!The era of frauds like HOPKINS who fought nobody in the middleweight division but he's considered one of the greats because long time reign and his victory over TRINIDAD(welterweight natural) or DE LA HOYA( jr.lightweight champ to middleweight);he fought ROY(in his prime)and he lost all rounds,if he've fought TONEY,Nunn,McClellan,Julian Jackson,Barkley or NIGEL BENN.....c'mon,he moved up to lightheavyweight TARVER because supermiddleweights were too dangerous!!!Segundo Merchado(2 times,1st was a draw-embarassing),Allen(3 times-embarassing),Antwon Echols(2 times-embarassing),i can go on..........he fought nobody and he fought good fighters not in their weight like Trinidad,DeLa Hoya,Wright. He wanted Pavlik not in middleweight limit after watching Pavlik in his rematch catchweight vs Taylor.DAmn HOPKINS,he's only one of example i can do.
