    Very unprofessional.
    Yes.

And a fighter should have had to win at least ONE fight in over two years to remain there.

Valuev's last win was the gift decision over Holyfield in 2008! Do the Ring writers who vote on those rankings realize it's 2011 now?

Before Valuev retires I hope he fights one of the KBros. I think this is wildly entertaining fight; Nicolas (as Vitali calls him) would be such an easy target for Wlad/vitali and we'd finally get to see him brutally KO'd...

Neither has Shane Mosley, but hes still ranked and getting another megafight.

          No.

Shane had a KO win over Mayorga in 2008, better than Valuev's gift decision over Holyfield.

Shane had a big KO win over Margarito in 2009, better than Valuev's decision loss to Haye.

Shane had at least a draw last year 2010, Valuev didn't fight at all.

          Past two years, 2009-2010:

Shane Mosley: one KO win, one draw and one decision loss.
Nicolay Valuev: 0 wins, 0 draws, one decision loss

The Ring said they would not drop Valuev because he is legit injured.

But he hadn't won a fight for nearly two years before he went for surgery in October, and even that win was just the gift decision over Holyfield.

He wasn't even discussing having surgery when I first made this thread on September 12th, 2010.

Well too bad. He would have been dropped if he hadn't gotten legit injured

                    Hey Warp.

So do you know who Fonfara is fighting next week?

                      Adam Jaco.

I probably won't be there on friday. I'm covering Bradley-Alexander in detroit for Max.
