So in the past two calendar years Valuev hasn't won a single fight!

He had two close decision "wins" back in 2008, over Holyfield and Ruiz.

So why is this big joke still ranked by The Ring and by the sanctioning organizations?
Sorry if i'm wrong but weren't you one of those that said Valuev beat Haye?

Valuev is a sideshow act at a carnival. With his Size and power he should be the most dominant HW ever, too bad he throws 5 punches a round.

        He's got below average power.

Yes but he should have the best power if he had proper training and technique.

He should be able to KO anyone on the planet with 1 punch. When you start getting into the HW range no matter who your hit the amount of force that is generated is much greater than any chin on earth can take.

Too bad he doesnt know how to use his size to generate maximum power because if he did he would KO anyone regardless of their chin, when you getting up to the amount of power generated by the top HW's it just gets scientificly impossible to take perfect punches.

With the lower weight classes chin and power matter alot since its much harder to knock someone out in the lower weightclasses unless you got heavy hands but with HW's anyone who can generate power is a threat regardless of chin or skill.

I thought he won at least 7 rounds, probably 8 or 9.

But beating the even more cowardly Haye who ran from him like a frightened chicken during the fight doesn't mean much.

And on the official record, Valuev lost the fight.

Holyfield and Ruiz beat Valuev anyway. I always thought it was pretty obvious that Valuev would fade away completely once he could no longer hold that belt hostage.

He lost close to Haye. At a year out (and he will get there) pulling him makes sense but there's so little at Heavyweight below the top five guys...seriously, who cares? Are there really ten good Heavyweights? Outside the Holy debacle (one of the robberies of the decade at heavy) he fights mostly good guys and competes. What else is there?

Yep. Nikolai aint coming back. Mosley hasn't won a fight since Jan 2009, yet he is still ranked and being considered as an opponent for Pacquiao.

                  All a bunch of ****.

Well, now we're well into 2011 and Valuev is still in the heavyweight Ring ratings.

He never fought in all of 2010. He never had a single win in all of 2009. He had only a gift decision against Holyfield in 2008.

Time to drop him from the Ring top ten.

There are several heavyweights who are clearly of better quality than the plodding Valuev:

                    Odlanier Solis
                    Robert Helenius
                    Derek Chisora
                    Kubrat Pulev

even Sam Peter belongs in the top ten more than Valuev.

The Ring is idiotic. They don't even follow their owns rules. Valuev hasn't scheduled any sort of fight for 14 1/2 months now. The cut off for the Ring ratings is 12 months.

                      Very unprofessional.
