Am I the only one who thinks Rios' weight was a big advantage over Peterson?

I'd have to imagine it didn't hurt him any in there. He was able to take a punch and bear down on the smaller guy to wear him out....yeah the weight helped
Rios did fight a good fight though and Peterson was hitting low with like 10 shots, he was given a few chances to straighten upComment

It probably made a difference but that's Peterson's problem. Peterson said he was "at weight" for a while and apparently is a smallish lightweight. Being at weight early isn't always a good thing.
****, in Pacquiao's rematch with Morales he weight in at 129 then scaled 144. So Rios at 150 is appropriate.
Great job for Rios. I expected a compelling win from him against Peterson. Legit top 5 lightweight a real threat to anyone at 135.Comment

How does pointing out the obvious take any credit away from Rios? He was obviously the bigger man with the much heavier hands in the fight, and that's why he won. Nobody is accusing him of cheating. Peterson didn't have the power to keep the bigger Rios off and he was having trouble dealing with Rios's power.Comment

Yes,it was an advantage however it came, but still,no one can take anything away from Rios!!He fought hard & clean while Peterson cheated & got wolfed!!I do find it funny however that Peterson only gained 5 pounds!!That doesn't seem like he rehydrated healthily at all!!Comment

I guess this means Sergio Martinez is a mothafuckin beast since he punked on Kelly Pavlik with that kind of weight disadvantage.Comment
