Um, unless you guys are all kidding, since when did Vlad all a sudden became a huge favorite to win this after all the glass chin jokes? He's got the skill no doubt, though enuogh to withstand the bombs Peter is gonna throw knowing Vlad is glass chinned? I doubt it. I'm actually hoping Vlad wins it just cause I feel bad for the guy and all the **** thats happened to him since his Sanders loss. If he beats Peter, I think he will officially be back then though if not, big brother Vitali is gonna have to take this guy out to prove he's the undisputed cause right now I only see Peter and Vitali as the 2 strongest hitters among the heavyweight division that could unify it if they were given the chances. Though Peter is still too green if his power does fail and I think it will be an early misrouted career.

      Wlad hits harder than Vitali.

peter certainly has the power to knockout wlad, but he appears to be slow handed and not quick generally, he also has a readily availible chin, so he could be knocked out himself, he has not faced a boxer with the boxing ability of wlad before, and i believe he can be outboxed.

If Peter gets a Ko I would think it would be within the first 3 rounds.

Yeah, I figure 4 rounds for Wlad to box and play dodge the bull + 1 round to figure out he can't keep the pace up much longer as he starts to slow down + 1 round to be shocked that he can't keep Sam off of him with just the jab and to get clocked by a left hook as he is loading up a right = KO in the 6th round for Sam Peter.... well if my calculations are correct

                  Cotto-Branco in co-feature!

July 30, 2005 - Heavyweights Wladimir Klitschko and Samuel Peter will slug it out in a twelve round eliminator for the IBF's #1 ranking on September 24. As **********.com first reported, when Vitali Klitschko-Calvin Brock fell through, Miguel Cotto-Gianluca Branco was elevated to main event status, however, with Klitschko and Peter coming to terms, (thanks to HBO throwing some serious money in the pot...perhaps now they could do the same to help make Byrd-Toney as well) Cotto will now defend his WBO title in the televised co-feature. Arturo Gatti's second home, The Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey will host the festivities. (10:41 AM ET) "

great news..this will show us if peter is a fraud and if wald can get his career moving..both these guys seem to have stamina issues

wklitmoe picked this fight because he thinks its the easiest one out there. peters is a "c" level fighter that has an awesome killers instincts and little else...at this time.he's young and can only get better. this fight is a win win situation for him.
