This is a little of subject, but how come boxingscene will mention every alphabet title some one has but never mentions The Ring Magazine title.

You should have stopped there. That was the only bit of your post that was worth reading.

That's down to the article's author, it's nothing to do with boxingscene as such. This article's author, Alexey Sukachev, doesn't seem very clued up about such things. I'm not sure where he's from but I'd guess he's Russian - his English isn't that good, and I imagine he may not even be aware of The Ring. He doesn't seem to know about lineal titles either. But you'll find other boxingscene authors like Cliff Rold and Mark Vestor who do consider the lineal and Ring titles to be far more important than the alphabet belts.

Edit: Cliff Rold has just posted his fight report (here) and he does mention the fact that Wlad holds The Ring belt.

Ya, he was a real animal against Tua, never seen such 'aggression and bad intentions' before.

No, man, you are wrong. Maybe my English isn't perfect as I'm really based in Moscow-city, not in NY or anywhere near that point and I do lack serious practice for my language skills but I'm well aware of what the lineal title is and what The Ring title is about. As for the lineal title, I don't consider it much of importance to tell the truth. Different people weared those strides, including, say, Shannon Briggs. That's a bit mythical achievement.

I had nothing against The Ring title but their recent views (especially in the last couple of years) just don't go well with me - for a reason - though I have nothing but a huge share of respect for their authors and their work. Also, I always mention alphabet titles in my articles as I do believe that (for the good or not so good) they play much more important role in defining the path of a fighter's future career. I know examples of boxers vacating their Ring belts to fight for ABC titles and I know quite a few who have done the opposite (namely Tarver and Johnson in their 2004 fight).

With all that said, I got your point. Thanks for expressing your point of view, bro!

RING aka De la Hoya Title

The "Ring" title is a phony and is no better than the rest. Sad the '
way Sam Peter went out, they should have gotten him a World Class
trainer not Abel Sanchez, who once again is in the corner of a loser...
Freddie Roach would have him at least throwing punches, this was a
one sided beating with no game plan, whatsoever.

Wlad started out fast but lost some momentum due to the holding. But it was a powerful performance and he messed Peter up big-time.
I saw the same thing too. Honestly I felt Wlad was trying to hold alot less than usual, even pushing Peter off and getting warned multiple times for it. He was trying to wrap the show up around the 8th but Peter was buggered and falling in continously.
