It looked to me as if Peter was doing most of the tying up. Hell he even hugged Wlad so many times and so hard that he bruised his back. And sure there were a couple of boring rounds but I enjoyed the fight. Wlad simply dominated him and knocked him out when Stewart asked him to. And considering the fact that Peter was the last man to really give him trouble I give Wlad credit for fighting him again. I am also a firm believer that if the Klit brothers just happened to be two Italian brothers from Brooklyn they would own HBO and would be beyond popular in the US. I also thought that that was a nice little tribute to Ali. In closing I say that I really like Adamek and I hope he does not fight Wlad. Because he will lose and get hurt in the process.

Most of the crying and moaning I've read after this fight is from Haye fans who know that Haye is absolutely DOOMED against Wladimir. He won't last half as long as Peter did -- Sammy is tough.

I want to see exciting heavyweight fights. And the current crop of heavys just doesn't deliver.

Odlanier Solis and Boytsov seem to be the only ones left who might force the Klits to extend themselves and be a little more aggressive.

I do believe you are on to something. Because I just noticed that most of the complainers seem to be from Britain. And therefore I suppose they are Haye fans. I guess they would have to be because I doubt that there are to many Haye fans outside of Britain these days. And they are most likely the same ones that claim that Haye fought the perfect fight in his "classic" against Valuev. When in reality it had to have been one of the worst fights in history. And the kicker is I still don't believe Haye even did enough to beat the Beast.

when a fighter with so many tools, such talent and physical advantages as wlad has, and performs the way that he does, UNDERACHIEVING, then of course we are going to complain.
first we can complain because it is a hw fight, secondly, watching a superior boxer with all the advantages tip to and ***** foot around for 8 rounds before throwing down the hammer, then HELL YES we can complain.
if all wlad had was a good jab and average right hand then i wouldnt blame him for fighting so stiff, safe and reluctantly...
but he has many TOOLS which he prefers not to use.

where are the body shots?
where are the combinations, no a 1-2 is not a combination.
why not a left hook to the body every once in awhile?
when in close why let sam hug on you, why not a step back and upercut or check hook?

i dont get it.
i give credit for wlad beating his opposition, but these are heavyweights, we expect some fireworks, we expect some chances....

Damn!!!!! Wlad actually did'nt look boring in this fight. Het let both arms go continuously for a change. If he keeps fighting like this I might have to chnge my opinion about him. He looked real good in there.
