Wlad's big problem now is to find a meaningful opponent for his next fight, given that none of the top 10 Heavyweights appear to want to fight him (other than Adamek, but it looks as if he's going to fight Vitali). I think he should try to make a fight with Solis or Boytsov.
i got 10 or more wlad on hbo fights.he use to fight like that & was on hbo for almost all his fights, but then the austin, brewster 2,& iragimov fights did so poorly in the ratings they dropped him.he use to be on hbo all the time...not you but so many think its because hes ukranian...its ratings not nationality.obviously many of his fans didnt watch boxing years ago or they would know hes been on hbo LOTS of times but the division is so weak now that no one cares.

Extremely boring fight, aside from maybe the 10th round.

The point is that after he lost to Brewster he developed a seriously over-cautious style. That's why his ratings plummeted. His performance against Ibragimov, in which he looked terrified of a little man who can't punch, and never once let his hands go, was the last straw for HBO. Since then he has gradually been coming out of his shell under a lot of pressure from Steward. He's still too over-cautious, and still doesn't throw enough combinations, but he's not nearly as bad as he used to be. As I said before, if he'd fought for the last four years like he's fighting now, HBO wouldn't have dropped him.

I dont know why people try and come up with old fights to compare with to make there fav boxer look better "saying oh well it was better than Lewis Tua" which was like 10 years ago jesus Christ.
The point is that Wlad is no more boring against that type of opponent than Lewis was, and most people act like Lewis was just wonderful and that the Heavyweight division died when he retired. Fact is, he wasn't any more entertaining than Wlad is now, and was just as over-cautious in many of his fights.

I dont get how so many people could complain about this fight but still think Floyd-Mosley was interesting.

This fight was WAY better then that and had a brutal KO at the end.

Its obvious those who are complaining about this fight either are just hating or didnt even see it

It looked to me as if Peter was doing most of the tying up. Hell he even hugged Wlad so many times and so hard that he bruised his back. And sure there were a couple of boring rounds but I enjoyed the fight. Wlad simply dominated him and knocked him out when Stewart asked him to. And considering the fact that Peter was the last man to really give him trouble I give Wlad credit for fighting him again. I am also a firm believer that if the Klit brothers just happened to be two Italian brothers from Brooklyn they would own HBO and would be beyond popular in the US. I also thought that that was a nice little tribute to Ali. In closing I say that I really like Adamek and I hope he does not fight Wlad. Because he will lose and get hurt in the process.

The haters will hate, who cares?

WLAD is pretty much unbeatable now.

Someone else brought up how Wlad is boring and they miss some of the old fighters and Lewis was one of the fighters listed. People forget that Lewis was a much safer fighter after the two KO losses. He couldn't even finish McCall in the rematch when the guy was just standing in front of him crying, he needed the ref to stop it. People always complain about current fighters and bring up the 'old days' as if it was some magical time where every fight was Hagler-Hearns. The only period that was ever like that for heavyweights was late 60s-70s.
