Sr. might suck as a professional but he gets the job done. What I don't get about McGirt is how he had Malignaggi training to fight on the inside, that like training Chavez Sr. to be Willie Pep.

He's an exceedingly demanding prick though.Nothing is ever good enough for him, which will put doubts into a fighters head. His control freak personality is a liability. **** he had problems with Dawson because Chad brought his fam to the gym a few times.

I said Floyd Sr. not Roger. And polished fighters are De La Hoya, Guzman and Dawson. I 'm saying he did a good job training them not making them All time greats.

it doesnt matter who trained malignaggi for hatton. he wasnt beating a top 10 p4p fighter because malignaggi is barely a above average fighter who in his best possible prime was a glorified gatekeeper. hatton was too strong & aggressive of a fighter for malignaggi who is not a great enough boxer to finesse to a points decision like a juan diaz who is not as strong as a hatton.

I wasn't just talking about the Hatton fight. They were together for more than that fight and Paulie looked terrible in all of them. Look at the difference between Ndou I and the rematch, huge difference.

We're talking about going from pitching a shutout to barely squeezing a decision. Hatton's fast feet and strength would've still given Malignaggi trouble, but nobody can tell me that Malignaggi bouncing on his toes throwing consistent jabs and combinations wouldn't have won 4 or more.

floyd sr. = horrible trainer. the ricky hatton fight just highlighted it. how in the world are you gonna work the pads using orthodox style when ricky is facing a southpaw?

there's a reason why floyd is the only prominent fighter that both roger & sr. have taken credit for. they might know boxing, as teachers or advisers, but as trainer both roger & sr. are grossly overrated.

name me another fighter that both roger & sr. trained from beginning to champion superstar status other than floyd jr.?


dont forget that it was floyd sr. who trained joan guzman to come overweight vs nate campbell. guzman's career has never been the same since.

Lala Ali was an outstanding fighter male or female she was the best. Undefeated like Floyd.
