Lewis vs Vitali

I thought both fighters were very tired, though Lennox was still landing, and had the capacity to land, hard hurtful shots. A lot of Vitali's work was quite sloppy by that point and Lennox was walking through a lot of his shots. Can't really say the same for Vitali who really looked ready to go by the end of the sixth. There also seemed to be a slight buoyancy to Lennox's work whilst Vitali appeared to be getting more and more dejected with the way things were going, and was getting pushed back by Lennox's attacks. I really think that if any fighter was going to go down in the next few rounds it was going to be Vitali. Yes I know Vitali has a great chin and Lennox had been KOed twice before and was hurt earlier in the fight, but Vitali was pushing his punches by that time whilst Lennox's still had a lot of snap on them and were visibly rocking and hurting Vitali. Coupled with the cut I just don't see how Vitali makes it to the finish line.Nice work there ^^^^^
You need to tell a little of how you saw the end. I found Vitali the fresher of the 2. Lewis slumped down on his stool like a man at the brink of destruction. I don't think he could have hanged in there much longer TBH. Of course it's academic as the fight was a legit TKO but still....
And let's be real. Lummox is a douche for not fullfilling his promise of a rematch. One can say that he earned his right to retire, but he shouldn't over and over have said that he'd give Vitali a rematch.
Lennox was a bit of a dobby for not rematching after saying he would as I think it would have cleared a lot of things up. Maybe he honestly did think of rematching Vitali then later thought better of it. I can't say as I'm not him. Anyway, it's academic now and I don't think either guy really came away looking bad.Comment

the thing that i noticed was how poor lennox's footwork and conditioning was in this fight.
LL had great footwork for a big guy but it was bad that night.
On saying that i had LL winning 3,5 and 6 but both looked knackered at the end of the 6th. Vitalli was holding on more and more as the fight went on and for the last 20 seconds of the 6th was holding on to LL for dear life.Comment

A guy who ko Lewis made vitali run into retirement
at least Lewis avenged it and proved it was a fluke. Cause ya know it only takes 1 punch in boxing to change a fight especially a hw... But I guess you don't
if Lewis had got his big brother to avenge it then perhaps it might matter

Lewis wasn't prepared or in shape for the Klitschko fight as he was actually suppose to fight Kirk Johnson who as he perceived an easy pay day - basically he wasn't taking this fight seriously and to back this up he came into the ring against Klitschko weighing 256 - the heaviest of his career.
Anyway…
I don't doubt that Klitschko gave Lewis the fight of his life and it's arguable that Klitschko could've beaten Lewis BUT he didn't.
IMO an out of shape Lewis gave Klitschko the fight of his life and almost made him an elephant man look-a-like in the process - if the fight continued Lewis maybe/probably stops him - we'll never know.
As for the rematch a fully focused and prepares out boxes and schools Klitschko. He didn't though and that's disappointing - I can't back him on that one.
