Khan should accept a 55-45 split like the W.B.A rules request. Obviously, if Maidana wasn't a mandatory opponent, Khan would be entitled to a higher portion of the purse. But Maidana is the mandatory interim champion, which means Khan will have to give Maidana his 45%, and take a paycut himself to make that happen.

The only thing I'm interested to know is, how will the purse bids work when both boxers are promoted by Golden Boy?

I think Khan should just vacate the belt and move up to 147 and fight Berto. That way the fight can be billed as "Battle of the Twitter tough guys."

Are you really that much of an idiot ? Maidana is basically telling your boy khan to step up to the plate or vacate his title. Maidana is the one forcing khan to take the fight and not the other way around. You are dum as nails dude...

I just want the fight made. Khan's chin needs tesing at JWW. Cotto built up a much better resume in a shorter space of time than Khan has at this level.

Thats the bottom line. Problem is people start comparing Khan to Maidana and both have their failings and the only place they can be cleared up are in the ring.

You make an excellent point my friend. If Khan has balls and stops being greedy. He'll take the fight with Maidana for a reasonable offer (55% purse). If Khan beats Maidana (I don't think he will), he fight the winner of Bradley / Alexander. If he cleans out the division then he can low ball all of the fighters in the division cause he would be king but to get to that level, he has to fight Maidana NOW!!!!

Like I said before the glass jawed one wanted to make it look like he wanted this fight to happen. There are no excuses or lies now if Kahn refuses it pretty much proves that he's ducking Maidana.
