Look at him now! He would be lucky to come back and make 168,
You obviously know nothing about health and nutrition, you probably don't know either that hatton was advised to retire from boxing two years before fighting Mayweather by doctors.
As they said his health and heart where being badly effected by his weight issues.

It's simple as this Hatton had to drain himself to get to 140,
He was afraid to fight at 147 because it was tougher division so he stayed at 140! I swear *******s are ******ed.
When Pacquiao got him he was a zombie quite like Oscar was when Pac got him,
Freddie is not dumb was happy to move back down to fight him at 140 instead of staying at 147 where he fought Oscar in his previous fight,
Freddie knew Hatton had to kill himself to make that weight.

Add on top that he made the weight TWO WEEKS before the fight due it being a 10 week camp (usually did 8 weeks) and you have a zombie in the ring come fight night.

    You lose.

    /END THREAD!
He was Zombie coming off one of his best performances of his career...great logic.

140 was PROVEN to be Hatton's best weight. if he was weight drained at 140 then he was at 147 cause the kid would get up to 180 between fights..he didnt just start doing that before he faught Pac, he did it before he fought Floyd as well....thats a sorry excuse...

as a matter of fact it was reported that he didnt balloon up between the Malignaggi and Pac fights.

I guess you know more than Hatton does about his own weight...

this is a tough one as the poll proves.

Mayweather KO'd an undefeated confident Hatton although it wasn't at his optimal weight.

Pac destroyed Hatton at his optimal whilst he was the lineal JWW champ.

I'd say Mayweather marginally gets more credit as Hatton was unbeaten.

This isn't in the poll but Pacs KO was far more impressive and dominant.

So with your analogy, you base the Pac win as better because he looked good in 1 out of 2 fights AFTER he got ko'd by Floyd, yet when he fought Floyd,he was undefeated and plowed through 41 fighters before previously...are you sure the Pac win was better?

As for his weight-we all know how much Ricky balloons up between fights-147 would be much easier to make than 140.
Hatton didnt plow through 40 of those fighters. He was nearly knocked out at 147 by Collazo prior to fighting Floyd and Juan Urango had him hurt and hugging for about 6 rounds in their fight.

Has to be Pacquiao.as he completely violated Hatton in the ring in devastating fashion. Hatton didn't look in his comfort zone fighting Mayweather JR at 147 where as 140 there are no excuses for Hatton, he was completely dismantled.

                    It has to be Pacquiao.

Floyd has all the advantages at 147 while Hatton all his undefeated 42 fights was in 140. Hatton fought only once at 147. Too much being said undefeated when he actually fought once there and he struggled showing us clearly he was not belongs at 147 afterall. So saying Floyd fought the undefeated Hatton at 147 where he only fought there once? *****s sucks!

Pacquiao just fought JMM at Super Featherweight, after 3 months moved up one division above and fought Diaz at Lightweight. After 5 months he moved up again another two divisions above and fought Oscar at welterweight. Take note this moving up happened within just a year. The best thing is Pac could ask Hatton to move up at welterweight as we saw how he battered Oscar there but Pacquiao giving Hatton a favor move down to his best weight (light welterweight where he was really undefeated in 42 fights) and koed him just in two. while Floyd it took him 10rds in his best weight to ko Hatton who was not in his best weight.

There is a big difference between the two and Pac should be given the credit more. You see....Floyd asked Hatton to move up in his comfort zone while Pacquiao moved down to Hatton comfort zone. Really big difference!
