Who gets more credit for beating Hatton? Floyd for being the first or Pacquiao?

Is a 10 round win better, or a 2 round win? What if Pac beat Hatton in 10 seconds instead of 2 rounds?
Would people still say FLoyd is better because he beat him first, no matter what Pac does?

Pacs is a better win. Pac took one fifth of the time it took Floyd. Mathematical equations are never wrong. Dont fight it *****s.

Sorry to disagree but Hatton's peak was against Kostya Tszyu IMHO.

Pacquiao: Fought Hatton at Hatton's best weight class of 140. Didn't take 10 rounds to stop Hatton. Hatton was coming off an impressive win, dominating Paulie Malignaggi completely. And I personally think Paulie had more left in the gas-tank at this part of his career compared to Castillo of 07.

When Hatton lost to Floyd, he went on to have a terrific dominating win over Paulie. When Hatton lost to Pacquiao, Hatton went into retirement. Seems, like Floyd wasn't good enough to put Hatton in the retirement home!
Obviously Pac beating Hatton at his best weight coming off a stoppage of Malignaggi where he was the 140 lineal champ and was also being trained by the great Floyd MAYWEATHER sr was more impressive then Floyd beating him ( I think it took 10 rounds) at 147....

When Floyd fought him he was at the peak of his career,
That was the best Ricky Hatton you will ever see in that ring on the night he fought Floyd.

He took a beating for eleven rounds and was dismantled,
By the time Manny got him he was shot.
Mayweather Sr, tampered with his style and his chin was gone,
Even journey man Lazcano nearly knocked him out in the 10th round on his comeback fight.
Hatton was more comforatable at 147 even though he said he was comfortable at 140?...okay, great logic.

Hatton was nearly knocked out by Collzao at 147 then jumped back down to 140..

He was stunned badley and sent on ***** street from feather fisted Lazcano-by a left hook no less....knocked down,no-but if he hugged Lazcano any longer,he would have had to pay for his cab home the morning after! lol

Sure,Hatton looked good walking through feather-duster style punches of Paulie's-but he was never the same after Floyd.

Hatton was so ruined by Mayweather Jr. he went on to school Paulie!

The Paulie victory doesn't sound as good in Ricky's career as his win over Kostya Tszyu....Ricky was undefeated.

So with your analogy, you base the Pac win as better because he looked good in 1 out of 2 fights AFTER he got ko'd by Floyd, yet when he fought Floyd,he was undefeated and plowed through 41 fighters before previously...are you sure the Pac win was better?

As for his weight-we all know how much Ricky balloons up between fights-147 would be much easier to make than 140.

Are you ****ing dumb or something? He was ballooning up in weight in between fights took its toll on him!
Look at him now! He would be lucky to come back and make 168,
You obviously know nothing about health and nutrition, you probably don't know either that hatton was advised to retire from boxing two years before fighting Mayweather by doctors.
As they said his health and heart where being badly effected by his weight issues.

It's simple as this Hatton had to drain himself to get to 140,
He was afraid to fight at 147 because it was tougher division so he stayed at 140! I swear *******s are ******ed.
When Pacquiao got him he was a zombie quite like Oscar was when Pac got him,
Freddie is not dumb was happy to move back down to fight him at 140 instead of staying at 147 where he fought Oscar in his previous fight,
Freddie knew Hatton had to kill himself to make that weight.

Add on top that he made the weight TWO WEEKS before the fight due it being a 10 week camp (usually did 8 weeks) and you have a zombie in the ring come fight night.

                      You lose.

                      /END THREAD!
