And there is no room for a fighter to be sluggish against a great boxer like Floyd
But we are not talking about JMM , Floyd gets very little credit for that fight anyway and so he shouldnt as he was bigger , but it was always just a come back fight after 2 yrs off and he toyed with the P4P No 2 like he was an amateur , JMM was only 3 lb above the 142 he was when he was KOing Casa and Diaz , if JMM was required to be 138 on the night it would have killed him , you can always go up but its very risky going down if your struggling to make the division weight before hand , like Margo at CW now its going to hurt him because of the lay off and his last fight being much heavier will make it harder to get it off now ,, but Roach knows that lol

Back to Hatton he was not a sluggish WW because he weighed the same as all his JW wins , Floyd beat the best Hatton to ever step into a boxing ring .

Pacquiao: Fought Hatton at Hatton's best weight class of 140. Didn't take 10 rounds to stop Hatton. Hatton was coming off an impressive win, dominating Paulie Malignaggi completely. And I personally think Paulie had more left in the gas-tank at this part of his career compared to Castillo of 07.

When Hatton lost to Floyd, he went on to have a terrific dominating win over Paulie. When Hatton lost to Pacquiao, Hatton went into retirement. Seems, like Floyd wasn't good enough to put Hatton in the retirement home!
You forgot to mention that after Hatton got sparked against Floyd,he nearly got stopped again in his next fight against Lazcano.....selective memory?

Hatton only fought as a true WW once with Collazo and weighted 159 Lb on the night and was a slug , with Floyd he weighed 153 and Floyd was 152 this is exactly the same weight he was with KT winning the title , these are JW fight night weights not WW , It may have been for a WW belt but it was JW fighters in the ring that night , understand the finer points of weight and especiually fight night weight thats what tells the story .

so you mean its similar to what, race horse or race dogs Doc? its really very helpful to have a vet around when discussing weight eh.

                    its very arguable...

PBF beat him first @ 147 and MP beat him in his best weight much easier and spectacular...

just about equally impressive to me at least...
