Who gets more credit for beating Hatton? Floyd for being the first or Pacquiao?

hatton had no strength or power to bully guys around the ring at 147 like he did at 140. that's why he wasn't very good there. it had nothing to do with his weight but his opponents weight. against opponents who had to make 140 he was very effective against opponents that had to make 147 he was impotent.Comment

Ricky Hatton @ 147 if about 50% as good as a 140lb Hatton.
There was a reason Marvin Hagler never moved from Middleweight, it's the same reason that Hatton should have remained at 140 no matter who the opponent.Comment

Nobody recovers from a check hook ring post collision with all their marbles intact. Add to that the fact that Ricky abandoned any semblance of "Protect yourself at all times" against Manny, and Freddie's admission that Ricky was full of flaws -- and you have a psychologically impaired fighter ready-made for knocking out.Comment

Hatton only fought as a true WW once with Collazo and weighted 159 Lb on the night and was a slug , with Floyd he weighed 153 and Floyd was 152 this is exactly the same weight he was with KT winning the title , these are JW fight night weights not WW , It may have been for a WW belt but it was JW fighters in the ring that night , understand the finer points of weight and especiually fight night weight thats what tells the story .hatton had no strength or power to bully guys around the ring at 147 like he did at 140. that's why he wasn't very good there. it had nothing to do with his weight but his opponents weight. against opponents who had to make 140 he was very effective against opponents that had to make 147 he was impotent.Comment

What you just did was hate, and lie.Floyd: Fought an undefeated Hatton at a weight class Hatton looked like dog-**** in the past at 147. Hatton was coming off an impressive win over a shot Castillo.
Pacquiao: Fought Hatton at Hatton's best weight class of 140. Didn't take 10 rounds to stop Hatton. Hatton was coming off an impressive win, dominating Paulie Malignaggi completely. And I personally think Paulie had more left in the gas-tank at this part of his career compared to Castillo of 07.
When Hatton lost to Floyd, he went on to have a terrific dominating win over Paulie. When Hatton lost to Pacquiao, Hatton went into retirement. Seems, like Floyd wasn't good enough to put Hatton in the retirement home!
After Floyd took Hattons 0, Hatton fought Lazcano @ 140 and was getting ROCKED with straight rights and left hooks..
Floyd took that mans soul.
The defanition of a HATER.. Downplaying one mans achievments, to boost another mans... Stop hatingComment
