Aww, man!

Neither team NEED this fight to happen. If there was a fight with Ortiz I'd happily pay to see it wherever. That kid is no feather-fist, however you try and style it.

After that Maidana would become mandatory pretty soon and that fight would be a pure HATE fight.

I'd love to see either match-up, but still Maidana would make sense in terms of clearign up the air. But Ortiz could probably pull in just as much cash money.

As you know I have faked a back injury and ducked both Khan and Bradley, Then I blamed it all on my handler who is fleecing me and taking all my money away, I then on your advice sacked him and took the wise words of the WBA vice-president who is the son of the president of the WBA to sack him and work for him instead. Now that the entire world knows that I have faked a back injury and blaming my old manager doesnt wash, I wish the WBA to come to my aid and help me secure 3x my largest pay day to date. I am the interim champion and have impressive wins over the hearless Ortiz, The unknown Gonzalez, The ordinary Cayo and the legendary Corely, I have a single loss on my record to Kotelnik, A man Khan outboxed every round and is a one-diamensional European fighter. Also im a huge star in the sport of boxing, Everyone in the US/EU and south American knows me and I even have a fan base in the ****** countries. For all these reasons I feel that as someone who has never been a world champion has only ever fought one world champion which I lost, I deserve another shot at the WBA world champion Khan for $1million, Also because i dont speak english, nor can i read or write, the contents of this letter have been written by my new handler who is ofcourse demanding more money than the last one. Simply put Im hispanic, Im poor, I lie, I duck and I demand a massive handout.

If Khan loses he will lose his belt, his stardom, and future big fights.

If Maidana loses, he will probably end up what he was always destined to be...a tough contender/gate keeper.

Ok I agree with you, both fighters have something to lose. But all sources point towards Maidana is holding the fight up by asking for too much money. He shouldn't be thinking about money at this stage, he should be thinking about getting his hands on that title.

I remember when everybody expected Haye to fight Klitschko for free when Setanta went under. Ok I agree with you, both fighters have something to lose. But all sources point towards Maidana is holding the fight up by asking for too much money. He shouldn't be thinking about money at this stage, he should be thinking about getting his hands on that title.

But Khan is focus on money why can't Maidana??I think this is a plot on Maidanas part to get paid more then Khan really wanted to give him..Maidana also wants to be treated like a GBP fighter...Not like the ugly step child getting offered like 300K for this big fight...I believe it should be 55/45 an get the fight on...But if it was that easy what would me and you be debating right Brother lol...Love the Avi by the way...

Khan is obviously the star in this fight, and warrants a premium contract (he is guaranteed around $1m a fight with Golden Boy). Because like you said Khan is the star...An he is IMO prematurely so he has to make certain fights happen even if that means swallowing his pride and taking 900k instead of a mill...I always said the same about May with regards to Cotto and Marga's...People say he did'int take those fights because of Arum...But he was the star he could have made those fights happen and that's what everyone knows...Money won't build your legacy and make you great fighting the fights make you great...
