You must not be much of a fan then, Vitaly takes this and easily I might add, Briggs is dangerous and can punch and even though Vitaly is nowhere near his prime in terms of reflexes or speed becaause of age and the various surgeries, they are on two different levels; Vitaly is an ATG and Briggs got lucky twice.

I would just be concerned about Vitali in the 1st round, Briggs himself said he was looking for a 30 sec ko because he knows and early stoppage catching Vitali cold is his only real chance.

Vitali is ready to be taken by a faster guy with younger legs. But that ain't Shannon Briggs.

Exactly. That is why Briggs has all of those early KO's. He has to throw everything he has at a guy in the first 2 rounds and then he is just gased out.

Vitali's best attribute in this fight is his brain.

He won't allow himself to be drawn into Briggs' fight and he knows all he has to do is jab and move for 3-4 rounds and the fight is his.

I wonder what Briggs will weigh in at! Hopefully under 260! Someone told me has a new strenght/conditioning coach now. I think he looked already pretty good at the press conference.

no way briggs wins this. i thought this thread was a joke.

briggs is probably the best thats available right now but he still doesn't pose much of a threat.

vitali will beat him down - it won't be pretty either.

briggs is outclassed, although he has power, he doesn't have the same pedigree as vitali, and he damn sure doesn't have the stamina.

                      vitali by 6th round tko...........
