i agree man i havent really seen shannon brigg's last 4 or 5 first round knock out victims but then again who cares ? as much as i would like to see a good competitive heavyweight title fight they are about as common as finding a 100 dollar bill laying out on the streets lol seriously i would just like to see somebody step up and shake up the boxings most storied but forgotten division.. and no i am not counting on briggs to do anything worth mentioning even though it would be nice for a change to see a highlight reel type of knockout in a title fight!!

      LOL what prediction.

      Hope it's a joke

Vitali has never been knocked down in my memory let alone out.

Briggs is a slow guy who doesn;t throw much.

      Vitali by late TKO

History and probability says you are dead wrong. Vitali has only had 2 fights go the distance. The first fight the guy was out on his feet and the second one the guy ran the whole time.

Briggs will fall by either TKO or straight knockout, because he'll stand toe to toe and fight Vitali's fight.

Vitali looked very good in the Arreola fight, but not as sharp in the Johnson fight.

Vitali seemed old and faded in the Sosnowski fight.

The 1999 version of Vitali who stopped Herbie Hide in two rounds, would have easily destroyed a mediocre HW like Albert Sosnowski within 3 rounds.

So to be honest I'm a bit worried about this one. Wladimir on the other hand is still in his prime, so I'm confident he'll handle Peter.

I think Vitali destroys him. Vitali's chin is iron, only seen him stunned once (vs Corrie Sanders). Briggs won't be able to take his punches.

Vitali is nearly 40 and is well past his prime, but he still has more than enough left in the tank to destroy Briggs.

Briggs would have a punchers chance against Wlad but against Vitaly even if he has lost a step he has little to no chance. My prediciton is Briggs will be punished and quit on his stool.

                    you don't believe it yourself

I'm sure you just say this to make Vitali's choice of opponent look good

The Briggs that fought Lewis would beat an old Vitali, but I don't think he has a big chance in this fight today. For 2 rounds he's dangerous after that it's a cakewalk, haven't seen much of him lately, but he ain't got more stamina while aging.
