          If he could shape down to 140lbs I don't see why it's not a good idea.

          There are only a handful of fighters that can dismantle him at that weight anyways so.............what's the big deal?

              I don't see many meaningful fights for him out there. The young guns at 140 (Bradley, Khan, Ortiz, Alexander) are all too much for him at this point of his career.
              A fight against Juan Manuel Marquez would be fun, but he would lose that one too.
              Maybe someone like Judah or Holt, but what would be the point in such fights?

                Well Ricky Hatton is pretty much retired anyway, thats what you call a fighter when he doesn't fight anymore lol... He probably won't be able to make 140 or even 147 anymore. If he comes back it'll probably be at middlweight lol.
