Maybe you right and maybe Pep is overrated how can people say he is arguably the greatest FW of all time even though he lost 3 times to Saddler.

Yes it makes so much sense for anybody who ranks Pep ahead of Saddler is overrated Pep.
Jrosales historical examples of other fighters doesn't work. the question was about Manny. I answered. To take it to other fighters with different circumstances makes no sense.

It seems alot of people pick manny because they don't like floyd's style/antics/BS etc. Liking someone shouldn't factor in to this IMO. If you say manny is an ATG, fair. Saying he is top 10, over rated. If you say Manny is the best of this generation, over rated. Saying he is one of the best, no question.
I consider Manny Pacquiao's this era's best because your body of work should dictate your status in history. I view Floyd as a more completely fighter and would pick him to beat Pacquiao, but Pacquiao has accomplished more than Floyd.

Can understand your argument but I disagree.

Nobody forced you to respond to my comment. You read my comment and didn't agree, but wasn't able to make an intelligent retort. Instead of making these weak copouts, you should've just ignored my post altogether.

I personally pick against Manny in some fantasy fights because he is a easily seen flawed fighter. Now when matching Manny up against another ATG fighter whos flaws are not as easily seen as Manny's add to that the other fighter is also seen as smarter and more technically sound than Manny. So why is it so hard to see why some people pick against him? That is not to say if the fight actually took place Manny would lose but on paper it seems like he should lose.

Manny is no doubt one of the best of this era. But most ATG great fighters flaws are not as easily seen as Manny's are IMO which is why some people against him. Everything isn't always about hate!!!!
