Jesus Christ nothing anyone says about racism is illegal. Imus got in trouble because he works for a company without a sack as 99.9% of anything on television is. If you got offended by nappy head ho's I don't know what you are doing on this forum, because I've seen about 50 of them with their big, dimply, p-poppin ass bouncing everywhere. The fact that it was on the internet doesn't mean much but its really the only place we can actually practice our freedom of speech. And thats what all these guys did, if Floyd said that **** about Manny I don't care I've said a lot worse to EVERY other race out there including my own and I know each and every one of you have too so I don't want to hear about his offended bull****.

Floyd didn't get a pass he simply didn't do anything that was a big deal. It only got attention because he is Floyd, I'm sure you'll find other black people calling Manny far worse on camera if you look for it. You'll find a HELL of a lot more if you read forums, this whole thing is ****** and floyd got attention because thats what he needs and again it worked.

You could say the same thing about Imus's comments about the girsl basketball team or Fuzzy Zoeller's comments about Tiger Woods. But the fact of the matter is that they were all insulting. It doesn't matter whether you and i think that they weren't malicious or that they were petty, it's what the majority of the people or the person that was insulted thinks. The funny thing about Fuzzy's comments, is that Tiger is not even 100% black, Tiger is mostly Asian. Floyd's comments were probably more insulting for Tiger.

People are constantly complaining, I don't see how hes got a pass for what he said. At the end of the day, he came out with some stereotypical comments that were racist, he didn't say he disliked Manny or whatever because of his race, he just said that he would beat him and talked **** about his race.

Im not saying what he said was okay, cause it was racist... but hes apologised and thats all he can do so lets leave it at that. Most of the people crying about it and complaining are the ones who have said things on here about Floyd that could easily be looked at as racist, if you don't like it yourself then be careful of what you say yourself.

Once again though, what he said was racist... but to say hes gotten a pass for it is crazy IMO.

You think what Imus said was that bad? I don't think he realized how bad it was. People who borrow slang usually...just don't get it.

He called them 'nappy-headed hos'. Only 3 words and it was both racist AND misogynistic. Just in bad taste and he knew exactly what the term meant/implied. He wasn't innocently repeating a cultural meme while being being oblivious to its implications. He was just a shock jock who took it a step too far.

Difference between Imus and Floyd is that Don's broadcast was on corporate airwaves and time while Money's was on U-Stream. Floyd might lose sponsors (doubt it) but his job is secure, even though he's on a possibly permanent vacation (doubt that too).
