On June 23, 2008, controversy again surrounded Imus when he made the following statements regarding the suspension of Cowboys' cornerback, Adam Jones.

WARNER WOLF: Defensive back Adam "Pacman" Jones, recently signed by the Cowboys, here's a guy suspended all of 2007, following a shooting in a Vegas nightclub.


DON IMUS: Well, stuff happens. You're in a nightclub, for God's sake. What do you think is gonna happen in a nightclub. People are drinking, and doing drugs. There are women there and people have guns. So there, go ahead.


WARNER WOLF: Also, he's been arrested six times since being drafted by Tennessee in 2005.


DON IMUS: What color is he?


WARNER WOLF: He's African-American.


DON IMUS: Well there you go, now we know.^[60]

I guess you could look at it that way. But let's be honest here.

The Don Imus situation was an entirely different situation, Imus was being paid by a powerful radio station not to spew that type of language, he's a shock jock but even they have boundaries and Imus didn't just cross the line he ran over it and put that SOB in reverese then Park.

A similar situation I would say would be when Adam Corrola said all that **** about Pacquiao and hardly anybody said a word. Too me that was way more offensive and I found it odd the NAACP didn't jump all over that but again it's all based on how much power an individual has with the public and right now Mayweather is a target.

I'm not a racist, but I honestly agree with the article. I mean c'mon, if a white person were to make a racist video like Floyd did, he would be condemned. Not sure why black people get a free pass. Maybe because they have gone through a lot of oppression in this country that people feel a bit guilty about it so they let it slide if a black person is racist.
