i just watched that jones rematch...worst fight i ever witnessed...neither one of those guys have nothing left...they panned the camera to tarver looking like he was ready to take on the winner in another snoozefest...boxing is sad right now...

It all starts with the Olympics, they have to win a gold medal and have a people person personality/flashy style. I doubt America will ever see one, sure everyone's in love with Pac but he never broke the 300k mark and was never mainstream popular until he hit with the original cash cow Oscar, same goes for May.

Good points. Although I would argue that just winning a medal is enough to get them noticed. On the flip side,Tyson never went to the Olympics but his style made him a overnight success.

what i find hard to believe, is nard, always the main perpetrator in a foul plagued fight, hitting the canvas off of roy jones love taps...jones doesn't hit as hard as he used to...doesn't turn on the punches or puts any kind of mustard on 'em...
