I remember that, It was after the loss to Cotto. I guess he missed the part where his trainer was pleading with him to throw more punches inbetween rounds. He was also partying with his girlfrind during training camp as well- I guess he blamed his trainer for that as well

lol...i might consider giving him a little credit if he beats pascal without holding, headbutting, hitting on the break, and lowblowing...

now him being a bonabide ppv star, i think the numbers as it relates to the peers from his generation support my previous statement....

Well yeah, he was never a superstar but he was a star. And I'm disgusted by the Hopkins-Pascal fight. Try not to remind me about that.

It all starts with the Olympics, they have to win a gold medal and have a people person personality/flashy style. I doubt America will ever see one, sure everyone's in love with Pac but he never broke the 300k mark and was never mainstream popular until he hit with the original cash cow Oscar, same goes for May.

Either or would've been great to me. Even Bute. But allowing a 46-year-old man who has been inactive and cherry picking a shot at the crown is just ludicrous, IMO. Hopkins thinks he found another sucker. A shame because you know how much I respect him. But this....ugh. I still remember how he tried to justify the Roy Jones sham of a rematch. Sorry, BHop - you gets no love on this.
