That's because Margarito was allowed to load his gloves against Cotto but not against Mosley. He proberbly would have beaten Shane if he hadnt been caught. But he did get caught. Cotto was a very good fighter when he beat Mosley. Unfortunetly his confidence is now shot due to the severe damage he took from Margarito. And he will never get it back.

People need to remember that Margarito vs Mosley was to determine the best welterweight. Mosley won. Floyd fought the winner and won. Your saying that as if Mosley is a bad fighter. In this era he's second only to Floyd. Roach accuses Floyd of cherrypicking but isnt it ironic how you get these big fights and Floyd always fights the WINNER while Pacquiao fights the LOSER. Sometimes even at CATCHWEIGHTS.

I wouldn't jump the gun yet. If they flat out refuse to fight each other and take alternate opponents while accusing the other of ducking him or "taking power pellets", then yes I'll agree with that statement.
