Maidana doesn't usually gas by the 7th round. He was obviously undertrained. If you knew about training you would know that.

    1. maidana doesnt usually gass after the 7th round because he hasnt gone past the 7th round in 2 years!!!!

As much as I wanna say Khan easily outboxes Maidana, I just don't see Amir staying away from that right hand all night. At some point in the fight, he's gonna get clipped and I don't see him taking it well. Fights against Salita and Malignaggi did nothing for Khan's confidence in terms of his ability to take a shot. Khan's best chance is to get Maidana out of there early, cuz as long as Marcos is on his feet, he is a major threat to Khan's brittle whiskers.

I don't think it'll go anywhere near as long as that. Khan's speed, timing and punching power is going to be disastrous for Maidana who's there to be hit all night long. Ortiz could have finished him early if he hadn't got sloppy and tried to brawl. Expect Khan not to make that same mistake if he gets a KD.
You base this on what..Who did he go to war with(Which he will have to do)to prove he is even ready for a real fight??Ortiz IMO is a harder puncher then Khan,we see how that ended...If he could **** like that he would not have been stopped in 59 sec...

BTW TS, I really liked the perdiction video. You were spot on. Maidana is the worst technical fighter at 140. He has only beaten bums or green fighters his whole career. Amir will expose him.

Well he didn't land a single power punch against Prescott so that's no indication of his power (or lack thereof). As for being in a tough war, well my point is that he won't aim to be in one. Khan and Roach know his limitations and will work to minimise them by keeping Maidana at the end of his jab, something Ortiz should have done.

going out on a limb and say Khan win by stoppage. Khan's power is under-rated. Maidanna too oppen and Khan will exploit it.

50/50 fight because fo Maidanna's power but gta giveit to Khan with the speed

                    Good video.

                    But you are wrong.

                    Maidana KTFO Khan easy.

                    Khan is the true hype.

Khan vs Maidana is going to look like Burns - Martinez.

Khan is going to keep at mid-range and work his jab, while Maidana is going to try and close the distance and throw wide, looping, overhand rights. When Maidana rushes in, Khan is going to pop him with stiff jabs, and then move out the way of Maidana's power. Eventually, Maidana is going to overcommit on one of his power shots and leave himself wide open allowing Khan to stagger him with a quick left hook and right hand combination. Maidana will then back off to try and recover, but Khan will be too quick and catch him with a few more shots, sending the Argentinian to the canvas. Maidana will get up but I can't see Khan letting him off the hook when he is hurt. Khan keeps his guard up and patiently stalks Maidana before he catches him against the ropes, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
