Bute is the best SMW OUTSIDE of the Super 6...it doesn't make him the best SMW....

Abraham and Froch would get purely outclassed against Ward-they would have nothing but a puncher's chance.

Absolutely pathetic. Huge fan of both but this is an utter joke. Now they've had success from the tournament, they're both ****ting on it. I'm slightly dubious on Kessler's injury too. It's like they all can't cope with taking on more than a few hard fights back-to-back.

it only took me reading two comments in this thread to miss the hell out of Jermain. he was going to have the toughest road to the 2nd round as it stood and he still signed right up for it.

these two have known about this since the tournament was announced. would they not fight if this was the FINAL? that way, if nobody loses.....everyone's a winner!

From what I am told by good sources, both camps are trying to get out of the fight and Showtime is threatening legal action because if the fight does not come off, the tournament goes down the drain.

Yep I wouldnt be suprised..Ward especially he has a belt and hype now and Im sure he wouldnt mind trying to make more money while not fighting Dirrell or another super 6 fighter like AA or Froch..

Andre Ward won't fight another contender outside of Oakland, because he needs a home referee who permits him to hit while holding, and use deliberate headbutts.

Ward should have lost by disqualification in the Kessler fight. That last blatently deliberate headbutt may have permanently damaged Mikkel.
