What are you talking about cross over star? When casual sports fans think about boxing, they think about either Ali, Tyson, Mayweather or Pacquiao. Let alone casual boxing fans.

I hope you didn't mean "Floyd shows why he isn't a cross dressing star" like Oscar De La Hoya

and I don't want to here about the style BS because even the Black fighters who do stand and fight like Paul Williams still get disrespected and overlooked, MOSLEY got over looked and Mosley always had that "MEXICAN WARRIOR STYLE" and was still got overlooked so clearly it takes more then just style in ring for a black fighter to become a star, not only that but I also think Promoters and Networks are shifting to International Guys who do have entire Countries behind them because they feel they can make more money that way and they are probably right
        i agree....

bradley paul williams winky wright are not crossover stars because they havent fought anybody as famous as oscar like floyd & pac did. winky's boring defensive style also doesnt help his cause & the same goes for bradley.

What about Shane Mosley who was the first guy to decively beat Oscar (in an outstanding fight I may add)?

That really turned him into a huge star~

that's easy. what did shane do after beating oscar?

lose twice to winky wright. then what did he do after losing to winky wright?

pac & floyd took advantage of their oscar lottery ticket. they kept winning, & in pac's case, in spectacular exciting fashion that captivates the fans & media.
