Arum was wayyyy to "ok" with the Floyd fight not happening this fall...

I was saying this during the whole fiasco, Bob Arum not completely dissing Floyd seemed unusual, then when he was pretty much being nice i knew something was up.

Personally, i think that Arum and Floyd have made a deal of some sort, or an agreement, that Manny and Marg will meet up in november, (nice raise for Bob) and Floyd will fight someone in December, then they have pretty much stole all the money they can before the big one next year, at first i thought Cotto, because that would do good numbers with Floyd and Arum's treated Cotto like **** for a while now, so i thought Arum would tell Cotto to do the tests and compromise a deal with Floyd so Manny and Marg can go through. Bob and Floyd both get paid and next year they make Mayweather Pacqiauo and leave with stacks, but now i cant see the Cotto fight happening so who knows.

I honestly believe something like this has happened behind the scenes. and Bob AND Floyd are both to blame for the whole up, for similar to these reasons. Smart businessmen in fairness.

I hate that Arum gave PBF a way out when they had him in the corner, if you have PBF in the corner, don't let him off easy, and that's exactly what they did, they told him that the fight was available when ever he wanted it. ******!!!!

obviously you missed the point of this thread. they didnt "have him in the corner" Arum wasnt trying to negotiate Floyd pac b.c Pac marg was already signed.

According to Dan Antuna of Tijuana newspaper Frontera, Antonio Margarito confirmed his next bout for May 8th in Aguascalientes, MX. After his bid to fight on the March 13th fight card in Dallas, TX, was not solidfied, the “Tijuana Tornado” will still face Carson Jones at the yearly state fair held in that Mexican city.

“The fight in May is confirmed directly from Bob Arum of Top Rank. He also assured me a fight with Manny Pacquiao in November,” Margarito stated.

He also mentioned that he would not be appearing at a hearing to solicit his license from the California State Atlethic Commission.

I can say this much, FLOYD WANTS TO GET PAID. Immediately we see him talking to don king. Don King is talking about getting him 100 million. He was talking about 40 for pacquiao.
Who in their right mind would be fighting for 40 million when theres someone saying they can get you 100 million.
