It's not like Mayweather isn't on the slide himself, so this isn't a smart move at all. Lets disregard my belief that Pacquiao is on PEDs and go by what I've seen......I'd actually lean towards Pacquiao to beat Mayweather. Little by little Mayweather's reflexes are gonna deteriorate, and against a speedy combination puncher who provides alot of different angles, he's gonna need them. This reminds me of that video with Bert Sugar, PLEASE WATCH, very interesting video.

So I'm kind of disappointed in alot of posters here on Boxingscene, the ******ity behind "Mayweather is waiting for Pacquiao to decline" is outrageous. Mayweather isn't displaying the same foot movement, combination punching and reflexes he has in the past. All the while Pacquiao has this non-stop attack against Clottey where his trainer was like "He's afraid of Pacquiao's power". What else can I say?....

Anyway, I don't think we're ever gonna see Mayweather-Pacquiao and neither do I think Margarito poses any kind of threat to Pacquiao, I see Pacquiao looking very very impressive. I do agree that Chavez Jr. is a strong strong possibility, IF he beats Cotto; which he will in my opinion.

      Give what up?

I don't give **** what anyone thinks, Arum sabotaged both negotiations, but Mayweather facilitated it this time around and made himself look ****** on the pr side.

If Arum would've been as serious about making this fight why didn't he do the same thing he did for Pavlik-Williams when he was going up against Haymon again?

You don't have an answer for it.

Anyway... the purpose of the thread is pointing out Mayweather's possible mistake of letting Pacquiao fight Margarito when he might have been able to get the fight.

        3. Mayweather is all ready ATG.
There are only about 1000 examples of why that logic is borderline ******ed.

Floyd Mayweather will be mentioned in the same sentence as Tommy Loughran and Wilfred Benitez, or maybe Billy Conn. Great technical fighters but not all-time top ten pound for pounders. Never with Ali, Robinson, Armstrong, Pep, and yes, Pacquiao.

                1. Pacquiao's ring wars and strainng himself to make weight has made him older in boxing years than Mayweather. Ring age isn't dependent on the actual age, Morales was done before turning 30.

                2. 2 fights has become the norm for elite fighters, so he's right on target.

                3. Is he #1 on your list? Unless he is, he can still move up in ATG rankings.
