Actually the whole purpose of Goosen making that fight was the purpose to have Floyd as a Goosen fighter. That is why they work together and was suppose to have future business together. However, Goosen made the sole mistake in not having it under contract. Lost money in the Baldomir fight and Floyd bolted to GBP and left Goosen high and dry.

So yea at that time he was perceived as a Goosen fighter

Isn't that an In-house thing to begin with?

      Me confused...
in house fighters aren't allowed to moonlight with other promoters....

what you're talking about is business...like may said he and dlh work well together....they're the 2 biggest cash cows so even though they don't like each other they make a lot of money together....

it is what it is...though some may not like floyd...the man works for himself...

bert sugar is right.....have a good one...

So according to your train of thought Floyd didn't fight an in-house fight.
Hatton at that time was affilitated with GBP. He had already left Warren.

Yes, they were working together to make the fight, but neither Hatton nor Floyd were GBP fighters.

Thats laughable man and you know it. There are some knowledgeable people around here who've been following the sport for some time and you cant just say anything and think people are going to believe it. Floyd has his own promotional company that he promotes his fights with end of, co-promotional en****** does not fall under the umbrella of belonging to that company. Floyd is not a Golden Boy fighter.

Bert Sugar makes some really outrageous comments sometimes.

Percieved j, C'mon bruh. Gossen has been in this business for quite sometime. It was no mistake. he may was trying to woo mayweather, but Floyd was never percieved nor was he a Gossen fighter! Just like floyd is not a Goldenboy fighter. The comparison just doesn't fit. Pacquiao has a promotional agreement with a promotional company. Floyd doesn't!
